I have tryed Uverse for roughly 3 months. Even though ATT brags about the quantity of high def channels it offers, I am like the greater number of tv addicts who not only do not have a hd capable tv, but also still use picture-tube-style analog formats.

We only hooked up U-verse to the set in our living room. But the ATT Uverse packages will let you set up to 3 and more if you are ready to shell out more. The TIVO-like device connects to one TV, and the others can retrieve stored shows off it. I requested the U400 bundled option, which gets you around 270 non-HD channels and starts at $100 a month. ATT has bundled choices that mix U-verse and web access, but do not start getting excited at the idea of ultra fast Web surfing. The internet access packaged with ATTs service is pretty much the same as ATT’s regular package, though upload rates are faster.

The aspect that most I was impressed with was the digital quality. Honestly, I have never seen a signal that clear on any regular tv. I also like the proven fact that the DVR can record up to 4 channels at once.

ATT installations take 2 to 4 hours, depending on 2 to 4 your place should be fixed to accommodate U-verse. In our case, technicians had to change the wiring in the back of some of the telephone jacks. Because I have been using analog wire, I’d not yet tried a Video on Demand movie, which U-verse includes. This gives you the option to choose from both movies and tv episodes from a selection of networks, including Starz, and play them on your Television like a DVD player.
